A few useful answers

Do I need an account or internet connection?

No account is required for local reminders. Reminders are stored on your iPhone and alarms are scheduled on the device. There is no hosted synchronization in the current version.

How do I allow alarms?

Allow alarm access when Remindable asks. If you declined, open Remindable’s Settings screen, review the alarm status and use Open Settings to manage access in iOS. Saving a reminder does not prove that every alarm was scheduled; check any status or error shown by the app.

Do I need to open the app occasionally?

Yes. The current app schedules within a rolling 90-day horizon. Reopen it regularly, before that horizon expires, and after timezone or significant clock changes so it can reconcile upcoming alarms. iOS does not guarantee background refresh.

How do I back up my reminders?

In the app, open Settings → Back up reminders, then choose Save to Files or another destination. Keep the exported file somewhere you can find again. Settings → Import backup supports merging, or replacement after confirmation. Device preferences and device-specific alarm records are not included in the reminder backup.

Does sharing an event share my alarm plan?

Shared-event files contain event facts. The recipient reviews the event and chooses their own reminder plan. Full backup files contain more information, so share those only with people or storage services you trust.

What should I do if an alarm did not work as expected?

Check the app’s alarm authorization and scheduling status, then contact us with the app version, device and OS. Describe the planned time and what you observed without including sensitive titles or notes. You can export a backup before making changes.
